Daily Wander· Walking route app
Discover new walking routes from your location with ease.
What is Daily Wander?
Daily Wander is a walking route app.
DailyWander is an iPhone app that makes it easier to go for a walk without spending time planning where to go. Choose a preferred distance, walking duration, direction, or remaining step goal, and DailyWander generates circular walking routes that begin near your current location and bring you back close to where you started. Compare route options on a map, select the walk that suits your day, and follow clear turn-by-turn guidance while you are outside. During each walk, the app can track your distance, duration, steps, pace, calories, and route progress. Completed walks are saved to your personal history, helping you review activity trends, maintain walking streaks, unlock achievements, and revisit memorable routes. The Wander Passport brings your walking history together through visited places, countries, distance milestones, and collectible stamps. DailyWander can also sync supported activity data with Apple Health and keep information available across your devices through iCloud, while leaving health and location permissions under your control. Whether you are planning a short lunch-break walk, an after-dinner loop, or a longer weekend wander, DailyWander removes the effort of inventing a route so you can spend more time walking and discovering what is nearby.

my apps have gotten featured a ton by Apple over the years and getting featured is fantastic because it's totally free zero cost of install but guess what those cohorts convert really poorly so do I have a conversion problem
Cheap or featured installs create a low-conversion fact, not a conversion problem
Low trial conversion often reflects low-intent traffic, not a broken onboarding or paywall. Apple featuring delivers zero-cost installs that convert poorly — that is a traffic-quality reality, not a product failure. Before grinding on conversion optimization, check whether your cheap-install channel is structurally responsible for the low rate.
the number one thing which allowed me to do that was having kind of a third party payable platform allowed me to being autonomous and and iterate fast and and really kind of shorten the cycle of actually like coming up with experiment developing it launching it from yeah months or weeks to to essentially days
A paywall platform compresses experiment cycles from weeks to days
Using a third-party paywall platform let Michal run experiments without engineering dependency, cutting the cycle from months or weeks down to days. This autonomy was the enabling factor behind the 60% ARPU increase: without it, the same experiments would have taken far too long to compound in five months. Experiment velocity is a growth asset; if your paywall requires a sprint to change, your testing cadence is artificially capped.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
