What is Systune?
Systune is a mac cleaner and system optimizer.
Systune is a Mac app that finds reclaimable disk space, audits 92 security and privacy settings, and puts 300 macOS preferences under your control. It also ships with a command line tool and a full-screen terminal interface, all driven by the same Rust engine.
The cleaner covers 103 categories, each with a risk level and a plain description of what it holds. Every removal is listed, sized and confirmed before anything happens through a test strip that states exactly what a commit will do, path by path. Items can be sent to the Trash instead of deleted, every settings change is snapshotted so it can be undone, and protected locations such as your keychain, iCloud Drive, Photos, Mail and Messages data are refused regardless of category.
Systune is aimed at Mac users who want to understand what is using their disk and what their system is doing, without handing data to a subscription service. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription, no telemetry and no analytics, and it works offline. The app requires macOS 14 or later and runs on Apple silicon and Intel. It is not yet released; the first 100 people on the waitlist receive a free lifetime license, with codes sent at release.

What other founders did to grow.
2722 dispatches from hundreds of founders, pulled from the week's best podcasts.
We ask if you're looking for a job or if you're looking to grow your business or to hire or something else based on your answer uh we then decide what type of content to show you often times we also know because we saw that you just searched for a job.
Personalize which plan you show based on stated intent and inferred behavioral signals
LinkedIn combines explicit intent signals (onboarding survey: job seeker vs business builder vs recruiter) with implicit behavioral data (recent search history, profile completeness) to determine which premium plan and benefit messaging to show each user. Personalization removes irrelevant offers, increases conversion, and improves retention. Every downside Levit found came from under-personalization, never over-personalization.
I personally love to track my activities... I looked at the app store. There wasn't a great app that tracked your specific niche activity like a cold plunge like a sauna like a cold shower. And I figured I could build this experience...
Pick Hyper-Niche App Store Gaps Where No Quality App Already Tracks The Activity
Pre's validation step is literally opening the App Store and searching for the hyper-specific activity he already does. If no quality app exists for the narrow use case, that's the green light — a low-competition ASO slot where a focused app can become the category top result fast.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.

1YO! 🙊 I'm Kevin, the founder of Systune. I got tired of juggling between Onyx, and a few other CLIs that cleaned my system. As a developer I'm filling up my drives fast, because of all the packages and dependencies and builds, and Systune helps with that. But it also helps with regular users too. I build a lot of other things as well, so don't type cast me 🙉
