About

Mirala is an ecosystem of services for Polish handmade creators and small creative brands, combining sales, technology, marketing, legal support, and payment tools in one place.

The current platform, mirala.pl, is the first element of this ecosystem — an initial product and a magnet for attracting both creators and customers. However, Mirala is not intended to be just a catalogue or a marketplace. The ambition is to become a comprehensive infrastructure layer for handmade creators who want to grow their own brand, sell independently, and professionalize their business.

The first pillar is a mini marketplace / sales catalogue that creators can easily join if they already have their own online store. Unlike most competing platforms, Mirala does not require creators to split sales across two separate channels, nor does it charge commission on orders. Customers are redirected directly to the creator’s own store, meaning the entire sale remains with the brand. This allows Mirala to support seller independence rather than create platform dependency.

The second pillar is marketing services for handmade creators — from product and brand promotion to sales campaigns and support in building visibility. Mirala addresses a real problem faced by small creators: they often have high-quality products, but lack the time, knowledge, or resources to effectively reach customers.

The third pillar is Mirala’s own online store builder for handmade brands. Unlike platforms such as Etsy or Pakamera, where a brand mainly exists as a profile or storefront within someone else’s ecosystem, Mirala aims to enable creators to own a full-fledged independent online store. This gives them greater control over their brand, customers, sales, and long-term business development.

The fourth pillar is legal and compliance support for handmade businesses, including assistance with terms and conditions, privacy policies, GDPR, consumer rights, and ensuring that online stores comply with applicable regulations. For many small brands, this is a major barrier to professional online selling — one that Mirala can help lower.

The fifth planned pillar is card payment terminals for exhibitors at handmade fairs, planned for the next stage of development. This is a natural extension of Mirala’s business model, as many handmade creators sell both online and offline — at fairs, pop-ups, and industry events.

In practice, Mirala is not building a single service, but five complementary value streams and potential revenue lines within one company:

  1. a marketplace / catalogue that drives traffic to creators’ own stores,
  2. marketing services for handmade brands,
  3. technology for building independent online stores,
  4. legal and compliance services,
  5. offline payment solutions for fair exhibitors.

The current Mirala.pl platform is therefore only the first stage — an entry product designed to build the community, brand base, recognition, and trust. In the long term, Mirala can become a specialized infrastructure platform for the handmade market in Poland: a company that not only showcases products, but actively helps creators sell, grow their own brands, and run their businesses professionally.
