About

Invisible Text is a free browser-based Unicode utility for copying invisible characters, generating blank text in a chosen length, and testing the result before you use it. Everything runs locally in the page, so nothing you generate or paste is uploaded or stored.

The workflow has five short steps. You pick an invisible character, choose how many copies you need, copy the result, paste it into the tester to inspect what you actually got, and only then apply it. The copy button is the fast path, but the generated output stays selectable, which matters in browsers that block clipboard access through permissions or device settings.

Three characters are offered, and they are not interchangeable. Hangul Filler (U+3164) is a full-width blank-looking character and the default choice. Braille Pattern Blank (U+2800) is a blank Braille pattern that can occupy a visible character cell. Zero Width Space (U+200B) is a zero-width separator that usually occupies no visible width. Each one has a name and a code point even when it appears blank, so the tool lets you choose a known character instead of copying an unidentified gap from another page.

Lengths run from 1 to 1000, with quick presets at 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100. The tool repeats your selected character that many times and reports the count after copying, so a string that looks empty still has a measurable length.

The tester is what separates this from a plain copy button. Paste blank-looking text into it and you get the total count, the recognised character names, the Unicode code points, and visible markers that make each position readable without changing the copied text. That is how you tell an ordinary space apart from an invisible Unicode character or a mixed blank string. It is also a useful comparison: a normal space is a standard spacing character that many apps trim at the start or end of a field, while other invisible characters have their own code points and may be kept, counted, or rejected instead.

Typical uses include building separators in a profile, padding a name or message, filling a field that refuses to stay empty, and checking what a destination actually accepted. The site is explicit about the limits. Each app decides which Unicode characters it accepts, removes or changes, so the recommendation is to test a single character in the destination first and only then generate the full length. If the copy button does nothing, the browser or device blocked clipboard access; the result is still in the output box and can be selected and copied by hand.

Invisible Text is free and needs no account, registration, payment or subscription. It is meant as a quick utility for checking and producing blank-looking text, not as a way to disguise content or bypass a field that a service deliberately validates.
