YourDigits
Your money has leaks. We find them and tell you what to fix first.
About
YourDigits is a budgeting app that finds where your money is leaking and tells you what to fix first, in what order. Most budgeting apps track your spending and leave you to figure out the rest. YourDigits detects 9 types of financial leaks and prioritises them into a system called the Leak Ladder. You start at the bottom and work up.
Voice entry lets you log spending in 5 seconds — just talk. The app runs on your pay cycle, assigns your money to leak-plugging tasks every payday, and adjusts when life happens. A health score from 0 to 100 tracks your progress as you plug each leak.
No bank login required. On-device speech recognition. Free on TestFlight during public beta.

So it wasn't even a product it wasn't an app it was just some back end I was playing around with It was a script on NestJS that I had built Eventually my friends invited me to homecoming I gave a few people the app to play around with And this was probably the first time that my high school friends cared about anything I was working on That was when I realized that there might actually be something here
Build the Scrappy Backend Version Before Committing to a Full Product
Kishi did not build Social Wizard as an app initially. He wrote a quick NestJS script to solve his own problem, then handed it to friends at homecoming. The moment his peers actually cared about it was the signal he needed to polish and ship it properly.
Now that anyone can build any software they want, knowledge and product is no longer the moat. The moat is your distribution... someone goes out and builds Creator Buddy 2.0 the exact same app in 5 seconds but they have 10 followers — I'm going to outsell them in circles.
Distribution beats product when anyone can clone your app in hours
Alex made $100K in 15 minutes not because his product was technically superior, but because he had spent 3 years building an audience of people who trusted him. In the AI era where anyone can replicate an app quickly, the launch advantage belongs entirely to whoever owns distribution. Building in public for years before the launch was the actual product.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
