About
Skymel is building Mel: open-source intelligence infrastructure for teams and agents.
Tell Mel what data or intelligence you need from the public web.
Mel discovers where to look, collects signals from major developments down to microscopic changes, resolves the entities behind them, and keeps the context as those signals connect across sources and time.
Signal Mode gives your systems a continuous stream of structured, entity-resolved public-web signals.
Intelligence Mode connects those signals into reports on what they mean for your objective and what to do next.
Use Mel for intelligence across companies, markets, technologies, supply chains, account portfolios, or any objective that can be investigated through public information.

Around the same time GPT-3 was launched and it changed the whole content creation game because it was really good at mimicking the writing style of the user. So I created an MVP over the weekend and I really loved it because I was able to convert my own raw thoughts into LinkedIn-worthy posts.
Build the MVP in a weekend around the single flow competitors were worst at
Devin didn't rebuild a full LinkedIn tool. He isolated the one feature his competitors were weakest at, wrapped GPT-3 around it, and had a working MVP in a weekend that he used on himself first. Scoping to a single high-leverage flow is what made a weekend MVP viable.
The higher price point allows us to offer more discounts to more users and try to get more area under the curve there because from 0 to 40 there's not as much room to do 50, 25%, 75% discounts. But at $80 we can do more steep discounting.
A higher base price gives your lifecycle sale engine much more room to operate
Lose It! built a sophisticated lifecycle discounting system over years — but at $40/year it had almost no room to run meaningful percent-off offers. Moving to $80 doubled the discount headroom without changing the absolute floor price. Steep discounts convert better even when the final price is higher in absolute dollars, so a higher list price benefits both conversion and perceived value simultaneously.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
