About

RoleProbe turns a job description and a candidate resume into focused interview questions. You paste what the role needs to solve and what the candidate claims, and it returns the resume lines worth questioning, concrete follow-ups for each one, what a credible answer should include, and which materials to ask for next.

The method is deliberately specific. A generic list asks every candidate the same broad prompts, while RoleProbe starts from the actual job description and resume and concentrates the interview on particular metrics, ownership claims, launches, systems, budgets or outcomes. Each follow-up names the claim and its baseline, separates personal ownership from team, agency or vendor output, and defines what needs to be true for the answer to count.

The output is organised as a practical interview pack: resume lines worth questioning, concrete follow-ups with answer signals and warning signs, a list of materials to request such as examples, dashboards, documents or a small work sample, a post-interview note review that separates supported answers from vague claims, and a 15-minute interview plan for spending limited interview time on the questions most likely to change the hiring decision.

It is aimed at people who interview without a full recruiting team: founders hiring a key role, technical founders hiring business roles such as marketing, sales or operations, interviewers who have been burned by polished candidates, candidates moving from a large company into a small team, and hiring managers who need to compare several candidates quickly on a consistent set of follow-ups.

RoleProbe is explicit about its limits. It prepares questions, answer signals, warning signs and possible evidence requests from the information you provide; it does not score, rank, reject or approve candidates and it is not a background check. The human interviewer still judges whether an answer is relevant, credible and supported, and makes the hiring decision. On data handling, a free preview does not store the raw job description or resume text, and a signed-in full report stores the generated report and supporting metadata rather than the raw inputs as separate saved fields.

Pricing starts with a free plan that includes a preview report, a candidate summary, the first few resume lines worth questioning and basic follow-up suggestions. Paid subscription plans add complete candidate reports, saved hiring contexts and report history: Starter, Founder and Hiring Sprint, billed monthly or annually.
