Egmatic
From first scene to published 2D game, no code
About
Egmatic is a no-code editor for 2D games, built for solo developers and small teams who want to ship, not just prototype. Game logic is assembled in a visual node editor, scenes are built with drag and drop, and real-time preview gives instant feedback without a build step. One project exports to Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS and Web, so publishing is not a separate project of its own. The editor writes clean, versioned JSON contracts and the runtime is a separate engine on .NET 9 and MonoGame, so a game never gets locked inside the tool. The roadmap follows the same goal: player accounts, cloud saves and leaderboards, with no backend to write or host. During early access Egmatic is completely free.

I ended up posting it in like the Apple subreddit I think and it really took off in a big way and people were really interested in beta testing it so kind of got to that point where I was like oh like this might have some legs.
Post the beta in the community you are building for — that is your validation
Apollo's early traction came from a single post in a community Christian already lived in. The feedback was immediate, the beta filled fast, and the demand signal was real — not manufactured. Building for a community you already participate in shortens every loop: from idea validation to beta recruitment to launch distribution.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
