Fraternity and sorority letters

Greek-letter organisations use two or three capital letters, such as ΚΔΦ or ΣΑ. To brainstorm a set, set the generator to 3 letters, choose ABC for capitals and turn on No repeats, then copy the ones you like.

How to learn the Greek letters faster

  1. Start with the ones you already know. Α, Β, Ε, Ζ, Η, Ι, Κ, Μ, Ν, Ο, Τ and Χ look like Latin capitals, even when they sound different.
  2. Quiz yourself with names hidden. Turn off Show letter names, generate a letter, say its name, then turn names back on to check.
  3. Practise lowercase separately. Lowercase forms like ξ, ζ and ψ cause most mistakes. Switch to abc and drill only those.
