YourDrive
Your files. Your storage. No compromise
Developer Tools·Productivity·Security
What is YourDrive?
YourDrive is a self-hosted, Google Drive-style file manager with a built-in media timeline. It runs on your own Linux server and keeps every file in the storage you already own: AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, MinIO, Cloudflare R2 or Wasabi. There is no per-seat pricing, no monthly storage bill from us, and no telemetry.
Why YourDrive
Most cloud drives ask you to hand over your files and pay for every user. YourDrive flips that around. You deploy it on your own server, connect your own storage bucket, and keep full ownership of your data. Your storage credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are saved.
Key features
\
- Nested folders with breadcrumb navigation, rename and move\
- Drag-and-drop moves for files and entire folders\
- Media timeline that groups photos and videos by month and year\
- Smart search by filename, media type and upload date\
- Starred files and a 30-day trash with restore\
- Bulk actions to delete, star or restore hundreds of files at once\
- Shared links, plus passwords, expiry dates and upload requests on Team plans\
- Streaming uploads straight from your browser to your storage, so your server disk never fills up
Bring your own storage
Point YourDrive at your AWS S3, Azure Blob, MinIO, Cloudflare R2 or Wasabi account from the Storage Settings page, click Test Connection, and save. Any S3-compatible service works.
Installation in minutes
A single command installs Docker if needed, generates secrets and starts the whole stack. No Kubernetes and no manual configuration. The first user to register becomes the admin and can invite teammates.
Pricing
Community is free for personal, family and homelab use, with up to 3 users and all five storage backends. Team is $119 per server per year for up to 25 users and adds folder sharing, protected links, upload requests and email support. Billing is per server, never per seat.
Who it is for
Homelab users who want a private Drive and Photos replacement, freelancers and agencies sharing files with clients, and small teams that need their data to stay in their own cloud account.

I also decided to share the development progress on my social media, and after posting the first screenshots and seeing a positive reception I knew that I should really hurry up and bring the app to the App Store — just banged it out in 2 months.
Positive social reception on screenshots = ship the MVP in 2 months, no more polish
Posting development progress on social media doubles as live validation. Positive reception on early screenshots is the signal to stop polishing and rush the MVP to the store — two months from screenshot to launch is enough.

There is no editor standing between you and the feed — every reader is judging signal-to-noise in under a second. Earn trust at the unit level: each tweet, video, and article has to justify its own existence or it gets filtered out. Don't rely on credentials or platform prestige to do the trust work for you anymore.
