WPMission
One dashboard to update, back up, monitor, secure and report on all your WordPress sites without sharing passwords.
What is WPMission?
WPMission is a WordPress maintenance dashboard for agencies and freelancers. It lets you connect a portfolio of WordPress sites to one dashboard, so you can run bulk updates for plugins, themes and WordPress core, manage scheduled off-site backups, monitor uptime, domains and SSL, and run security scans without logging into each wp-admin.
It is built for teams that look after many client sites. Sites are connected with a lightweight connector plugin and a one-time connection key. Connections use signed Ed25519 keys, and WordPress passwords are never asked for or stored.
What sets it apart is the client-facing side. Each team can set its own brand name, colour, logo and reply-to address, and white-label client report PDFs and emails use that branding instead of the WPMission name. A client portal and one-click wp-admin login are also included.
WPMission is free to connect, and new teams get a 14-day free trial of premium management on every connected site with no card required. After the trial, connections stay free, while premium features continue for sites covered by a paid plan.

Open source is a way to introduce your project to millions of developers… thanks to open source, my app has been downloaded 5 million times.
Open source is a marketing channel — not a product strategy
Frame OSS as a distribution lever rather than a product choice. The same SaaS code is given away free to penetrate flooded markets, build brand, and pull in word-of-mouth from developers who would never have paid anyway.
LTV for us is a little too wishy-washy and too macro to make decisions on... we manage the day-to-day business on payback period which is a far cleaner very tangible metric that we can talk to the entire team about.
Manage Day-to-Day Growth on Payback Period, Not LTV — It Is More Actionable
LTV requires years of cohort data to measure and changes as the product evolves, making it nearly useless for in-the-moment decisions. Ladder uses payback period — how much revenue is recouped at day 30, day 90, month 6, year 1 — as the operational metric. It is real-time, legible to the whole team, and directly connects spend decisions to cash flow dynamics.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
