Wombit
See what's filling your Mac, and clear it safely
What is Wombit?
Wombit is a native Mac app that shows what's filling your disk, explains every item in plain language, and clears space safely: Trash first, with Undo and a log.
Scan the whole disk or any folder and see it as a treemap, a sunburst or a list. Click any folder to see what it is and whether it's safe to remove. Explanations come from a rules catalog with sources, and no file names or paths ever leave your Mac.
What you get:
- System Data, explained: the part Storage settings won't break down, split into named parts
- Developer folders it understands: Xcode DerivedData and simulators, Docker, node_modules, the Gradle, Cargo, npm, pip and uv caches, Ollama and LM Studio models
- A review before anything moves: every item, its size and what removing it would mean
- Trash first: Undo and Put Back work until you empty the Trash. When a tool has its own cleanup command, Wombit runs that instead of deleting its files
- Only items their owner rebuilds by itself start checked. macOS, your keychains, iCloud Drive and the Photos and Music libraries are never offered
- What Changed: a daily history of what grew, with alerts when space runs low
- An uninstaller that shows what each app left behind
- A System Monitor for CPU, memory, network and power, and a command-line tool
Pricing: the analyzer is free for good, not a trial. Pro is $4.99 once, with lifetime access on up to 3 Macs. No subscription.
Requires macOS 26 Tahoe or later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

I think the key thing about this idea is that it's not an idea at all it's a validated market which was first validated with the tweet by Peter levels I saw and then by sales I got from my Reddit post
Build for Proven Demand by Targeting a Shutting-Down Giant's Market
Dennis explains why Yaphone succeeded where his previous projects failed. The market for international calling was proven by Skype's decades of users, and the shutdown created immediate, urgent demand. He saw idea validation twice — first from Peter Levels' tweet, then from first-minute sales on Reddit.
We have the ultra plan of cursor which cost $200 per month on mix panel Last month I paid around $100 and for the Tik Tok spot ads... cost me around $100 per month So after five months my profit margin for stopper is 35%.
Run A $12K-Per-Month Cloned App On Roughly $400 Of Tools At 35 Percent Margin
David's entire stack — Cursor Ultra, Mixpanel, RevenueCat, and TikTok Spark Ads — runs at roughly $400/month against $12K MRR. The 35% margin reflects Apple's cut plus influencer payouts, not infrastructure. The clone playbook is capital-light enough to bootstrap from a job.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
