Stadiu
Every football club in the world, pinned at its stadium
2 people waiting for launch day
What is Stadiu?
Stadiu is an interactive world map of football. It shows more than 11,000 clubs and 10,000 stadiums across 160+ countries, each one plotted at its own ground. It covers every tier, from the Champions League giants down to the lower levels of national pyramids.
Explore the map
Zoom into any city and see who plays where. Click a club to see its stadium, nearby clubs, league table and upcoming fixtures. Search any team, or filter by country, to plan a groundhop or settle an argument about which ground is closest.
Guess the crest
Stadiu also includes a free geography game built on the same map. You're shown a club crest and drop a pin where you think its stadium is. The closer your guess, the more points you score.
- Quick play: five random crests from the countries you choose
- Daily Challenge: the same five clubs for everyone, every day, with a streak and a shareable result
- Custom games: pick countries, or stick to the big clubs
- Survival: keep going until your HP runs out
Stadiu is free to use with no sign-up. It works great on a phone and is available in several languages. It's made for casual fans who want a quick round and for football nerds who know every ground in the fifth tier.

A free trial in our calendar app is important because they've got to get through a full week to see the value. But in our weather app, there's a big storm coming and they just want to use the app for that storm period — a free trial might not convert well.
Free trial strategy must match the app's usage rhythm, not just the calendar
WeCal needs a seven-day trial because users need to experience a full week to see the agenda view's value. The weather app faces the opposite problem: storm-chasers want a single-session peak and leave. The same seven-day trial that converts calendar users repels weather users. Trial design must be derived from the core usage moment, not copied from another app.
The biggest tip here is to make sure that we have that data pipeline set up so you're able to see this measurement end to end. Where did they come from did they actually subscribe and is there a particular channel that maybe we should defocus because a majority of the users are churning.
Build the Full Data Pipeline: Install Source → Trial Start → Conversion → Churn by Channel
Shane's most critical piece of advice for subscription apps: don't stop measuring at the install or even the trial start. The full pipeline must track install source → trial start → paid conversion → renewal → cancellation, all linked to the originating campaign. Without it, a campaign that drives massive trial starts but near-zero conversions looks like a winner in network dashboards but bleeds money in reality. The churn signal by channel is what enables real budget optimization.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
