What is SpriteGen?
SpriteGen helps game creators generate pixel-art sprite sheets with AI. Describe a character and action, choose a style and perspective, preview animations, and export transparent PNG sprite sheets. AI generation includes free tries, with paid credits for further generations.
The website also includes a free browser-based pixel-art editor. Creators can draw and edit animation frames, use onion-skin previews, import existing images, and export PNG images, sprite sheets, or GIF animations. Additional utilities arrange existing image frames and convert GIF animations to sprite sheets.

people don't really adopt that, that product needed to provide like access, they needed to credentials to connect to your database... without any credibility and trust from the engineers we said like all right it's too tough
Pivot when developers refuse to trust your app with their credentials
Jonathan's first product failed because it asked developers to hand over database credentials before any trust was established. He pivoted to ChartDB specifically because it required zero credentials and no local install — removing the friction that was blocking adoption. If your ICP has a deeply-held constraint like security skepticism, build around it from day one, not as an afterthought.
extremely high pay taxes compliance doiciles people don't want to deal with them they just want to hire somebody to pay somebody just to forget about this which is exactly why they're willing to pay
People pay just to forget about the problem — that's the boring-niche signal
The strongest signal in unsexy markets is that customers will pay simply to stop thinking about the problem — tax filings, compliance audits, immigration paperwork, estate planning. Willingness-to-pay isn't correlated with how much value you create; it's correlated with how much dread you remove. If the DIY alternative is hours of confusing forms or thousands of dollars to a lawyer, your productized middle path is the no-brainer purchase.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
