Developer Tools·Design Tools·AI & Machine Learning

What is SpicyAPI?

SpicyAPI is an AI video generation API.

SpicyAPI is a pay-per-request API and no-code Studio for 200+ generative AI models: Seedance, Kling, Wan and MiniMax for video, Seedream, GPT Image, Nano Banana and FLUX or Z-Image with your own LoRA for images, Suno for music, text-to-speech and OpenAI-compatible chat. Every request is priced in US dollars and can be quoted before it runs, with no subscription. The platform adds no content filter of its own, so output depends on the model you choose, and uncensored models are labelled in the catalog. Official SDKs for TypeScript, Python, Go, PHP and Java, a CLI and an MCP server are included.

Hi everyone! We built SpicyAPI so developers can reach Seedance, Kling, Wan, MiniMax, Seedream, Nano Banana, FLUX LoRA and Suno with one key and see the USD price before each run. Happy to answer questions about the API, SDKs or MCP server.

Audience
the age group below 25 is really neglected by most of the advertisers because they are usually very cheap to buy because they use social media more often and they don't have high purchasing power so cpms are low meta really loves spending on them because they're so cheap and they're going to create a cheap cost per trial but then the conversion down funnel is going to be very very poor

Exclude users under 25 by default — cheap CPMs mask terrible trial-to-paid conversion

Meta's algorithm gravitates toward under-25s because they are cheap to reach, which looks great on cost-per-trial but collapses on the metrics that matter: trial-to-paid conversion and renewal rates. Burke's default is to exclude under-25s (sometimes under-30s) until enough data exists to model their actual LTV. The auction premium for older audiences pays for itself.

Bootstrapping
you raised at a 20 million $30 million valuation now you're going to go to the market and say oh we're doing 500k of AR we want to raise at 50 million AR valuation and everyone's like no you're like not worth anywhere near that you can actually kind of like run yourself off a cliff with an otherwise good business simply by overshooting on valuation

Overshooting valuation can run a good business off a cliff

Raising too much at an inflated valuation locks in a high watermark — 12 months later, revenue hasn't caught up to justify the next round, and the only paths are flat/down rounds or running out of cash. Set a fair valuation matched to a reasonable raise so the next round is achievable.

There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
