ScrapeAtlas
Social media data scraping API with a hosted MCP server
Developer Tools·Data & Infrastructure
What is ScrapeAtlas?
ScrapeAtlas is a social media data scraping API. It gives developers one unified REST API for public profiles, posts, videos and conversations across social platforms, so they do not need to build and maintain a separate scraper for every network.
Besides the REST API, ScrapeAtlas provides a hosted MCP server (https://api.scrapeatlas.com/mcp) so AI agents and MCP-compatible clients can call the same data tools, and a command-line interface published on npm as @scrapeatlas/cli.
Every new account gets 100 free credits on signup with no credit card required; paid credit plans are available after that.

Build a calm business on purpose, not a chaotic one by default
A 'calm business' is a deliberate design choice, not a personality trait. The chaotic default emerges when work isn't actively bounded, so calm requires intentionally protecting non-work time first and letting the business shape itself around that. Decide what the schedule must allow, then build the company that fits.
I delayed jumping into the what I call arena to optimize for income and financial security the problems you get to solve when building and growing a software product these days are so highly leveraged and applicable to almost any online business Mastering them would be worth more than any income you can generate in a year or two
Choose Skill Leverage Over Income When Deciding What to Build Next
Ivan spent years running a profitable dev agency but recognized he was trading time for money with a hard ceiling on growth. He argues that the compounding value of learning to build and distribute software products outweighs the short-term safety of a high salary or service business. Choosing leverage over income — especially early — unlocks asymmetric upside.
