Safi
Turn bank texts into an updated budget
What is Safi?
Safi is a personal finance app coming soon to iOS. It turns the bank SMS alerts you choose to share into categorized transactions, without connecting to your bank or asking for your banking login. On iPhone, an Apple Shortcut forwards selected bank texts to Safi.
Track spending and budgets, recurring bills and subscriptions, savings goals, multiple accounts and currencies, investment holdings, and selected shared accounts with a partner. Ask Safi lets you ask questions about your money in plain language.
Safi supports Arabic and English bank alerts and includes a right-to-left Arabic interface. A free plan covers manual tracking, while Pro adds automatic bank message sync and higher limits.

Price standalone features at parity with short subscriptions to make subscription the obvious deal
When a la carte Passport caused subscription cannibalization, Tinder set the 7-day Passport price equal to the 7-day Plus subscription. Users immediately saw the subscription as the better deal — more features for the same price — and cannibalization dropped while total revenue rose. Price parity is a behavioral nudge that works without removing the standalone option.
You need to have golden moments where you can ask for a rating. In this case it could be when you tap on a stop and see a live tracking of a bus or train — you can actually see it moving on the map. That's a great moment to ask the customer for a rating where the customer is most likely to respond positively.
Time rating prompts to the app's wow moment, not session start
Rating prompts fire at the exact moment the user experiences the product's core magic (watching their bus crawl across the map live), not on session start or random N-th-launch heuristics. The resulting 75K+ five-star ratings on 5.2M downloads is what feeds the ASO flywheel — once you're top-10 for a keyword, ratings velocity decides whether you reach #1.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
