Puto Pulse Newsletter
Free weekly book summary newsletter for self-help & professional growth
About
You don’t need more reading lists. You need one sharp insight and one move you’ll actually do. Every Tuesday, about five minutes. No guilt.
Steal the best ideas from books like Rich Dad Poor Dad and Atomic Habits without adding another “someday” pile. Join 500+ readers who turn Tuesdays into a tiny upgrade streak.
Most newsletters add noise. Puto Pulse is built for the gap between “I should read that” and actually changing something. Each Tuesday you get one distilled lesson from a serious book (mindset, productivity, leadership, communication, or money) and one small action so the week doesn’t slip by unchanged.

Around the same time GPT-3 was launched and it changed the whole content creation game because it was really good at mimicking the writing style of the user. So I created an MVP over the weekend and I really loved it because I was able to convert my own raw thoughts into LinkedIn-worthy posts.
Build the MVP in a weekend around the single flow competitors were worst at
Devin didn't rebuild a full LinkedIn tool. He isolated the one feature his competitors were weakest at, wrapped GPT-3 around it, and had a working MVP in a weekend that he used on himself first. Scoping to a single high-leverage flow is what made a weekend MVP viable.
Rather than trying to tell people with your messaging — messaging is so much more than that. It's how you're bringing things across by showing them things rather than telling them. Going back to that Welltory example, they would basically pull in your data in the onboarding and you'd immediately get some insights about yourself in the onboarding rather than tell you we can give you insights.
Welltory hack: pull live user data into onboarding so the aha is delivered, not promised
Stop writing copy that claims your app delivers insights or transformation. Manufacture a real demonstration during onboarding — pull live data, run a quick analysis, surface a personal insight. Welltory imports health data on first launch and serves up personalized insights inside the flow itself. The aha becomes proof, not marketing.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
