What is Pawfora?

Pawfora is an all-in-one management platform built for pet shops, bringing online booking, smart scheduling, grooming reports, pet profiles, reminders, retail, and customer care into one workspace. It replaces spreadsheets and paper notes with a single system that the whole team can use from desktop, tablet, or phone.

Pet parents can book appointments online at any hour, and each shop gets its own branded website with a Pawfora booking address. The calendar offers drag-and-drop scheduling across staff, services, and rooms, with conflict detection to prevent double-bookings. Pet profiles hold vaccine dates, weight history, allergies, and past grooms, while reminders track vaccine due dates and grooming cycles.

Pawfora is designed for grooming, boarding, daycare, and retail shops, and it can start with a single salon and grow into a chain with cross-store features. Its console is available in 27 languages. A 7-day free trial is offered with no credit card required.

Onboarding
Now when somebody buys through that custom product page it can deep link into your app to give a customized onboarding. Strava might say okay — you saw an ad about running, you saw the App Store screenshots about running, and now when you open the app you're going to get the runner onboarding not the cycling onboarding.

Custom product page deep links now thread through to a matching onboarding inside the app

Apple now lets a single custom product page drive a matching deep-link onboarding experience, closing the loop from ad creative to App Store listing to first-session experience. A user who saw a running ad should land in a running-focused onboarding, not a generic one. With up to 35 custom pages available, the approach also provides coarse-grained campaign attribution — enough to attribute channel performance without identifying individuals.

Bootstrapping
we did not raise a traditional type of VC round we went the crowdfunding route um using reg CF which sort of allows anyone to invest and not have to be accredited we have around 1,300 investors as little as like $20 of people are involved

Reg CF crowdfunding is a real middle path between bootstrapping and VC

Maybe raised $1.4M from ~1,300 non-accredited investors (some as small as $20) using Reg CF, sidestepping the single-dominant-VC growth-at-all-costs pressure. After the shutdown, the open-source revival raised another $1.1M+ in 10 days from investors who specifically fund commercial open source. Different capital sources enable different operating tempos.

There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
