What is OnboardHive?
OnboardHive is client onboarding software for agencies, consultants and B2B service
businesses. It gives every client one private magic link that does two jobs, replacing the
five-tool stack most small agencies stitch together the moment a deal closes.
Act one is the proposal. You publish versioned proposals (v1, v2, v3) to the client's link,
and OnboardHive tracks what happens next: every open, active read-time measured in ten-second
heartbeats while the tab is genuinely visible, and a re-open alert the moment a quiet client
comes back. That return visit is the strongest buying signal in the pipeline, and most teams
never see it. Clients accept or decline inside the link. No login, no account, no PDF lost in
an email thread.
Then the link flips. The client says yes and the same URL becomes a branded onboarding portal.
Nothing to resend, nothing to re-explain.
Act two is onboarding, the part almost every tool leaves undone. E-signature with typed
signature, timestamp and user-agent audit trail. Payment confirmation. Intake forms. Guided
account-access steps. File uploads. Every section is tracked at section level: not seen, in
progress, complete. Automatic reminders email stalled clients the exact items still pending,
so nobody chases anyone by hand.
Around that sit the things that make it a system rather than a form builder: an onboarding
stall heatmap showing where clients get stuck across your whole book of business, two-tier
engagement tracking across both phases, AI that drafts onboarding flows and writes a kickoff
brief from the client's own intake answers, reusable templates, a team plan with approval gates
and an activity log, white-label branding on a custom domain, your own email sender, and a
public REST API.
We built it because the software industry optimizes hard for the run-up to "yes" and goes
silent the second yes arrives. That week after the win, when nothing visibly happens, is where
agencies lose the confidence they spent months earning. OnboardHive owns that week.

In the summer I couldn't really motivate myself to keep developing after a full day of developing. So the start of 2025 I negotiated to have a 4 day week to have another full day for wish list.
Negotiate A Four-Day Week As The Bridge From Job To Full-Time Founder
After years of evening and weekend work, Chris hit a wall: a full day of dev work at his job killed his motivation to code at night. Instead of quitting cold, he negotiated a 4-day week with his employer in early 2025, buying himself a guaranteed weekly day for Wishlist before going full-time.
We can reach statistical significance on an experiment within 24 hours in some cases — but we do recognize that buying behavior is often influenced by many other variables outside of very specific colors and text. Purchase behavior could be everything from what is the weather outside, what is my need right in that moment.
Run A/B Tests Long Enough to Cover the Full Context Your App Lives In
At weather.com scale, experiments hit stat-sig quickly — but Rachel Chukura emphasizes that speed can fool you. Purchase intent is shaped by contextual factors (weather conditions, time of year, news cycles) that a single 24-hour window will not capture. Running tests long enough to see variation across conditions produces findings you can actually trust and build roadmap decisions on.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
