AI meeting notes with decisions, owners and next steps

What is note1?
note1 is an AI note taker and AI meeting assistant. It can join your call as the note1 Notetaker, record bot-free on your Mac, or import an existing audio or video recording. Each meeting produces a speaker-labelled transcript, an AI summary, notes, decisions, and action items kept together in one place.
The product is aimed at people who run or attend meetings and need follow-up to stay on track, including managers, product, sales, and recruiting teams. Users can search transcripts, ask questions about past conversations such as who decided what or what is still open, and jump back to the exact timestamp behind a summary point or task. Meeting knowledge can also flow into Slack recaps, calendars, and MCP-connected AI tools.
What sets note1 apart, according to the page, is its focus on source-linked review and access control. Summaries link back to the moment they came from, and meetings are private by default with Team and Private visibility settings that apply across search, calendars, Slack, and MCP. A free trial is available, with paid Pro and Business plans priced per seat.

Month one churn shopping is the highest and it's over 40%... people are turning off auto renew that first month... most of the turn decision most of that turning off auto renew happens the first month.
Over 40% of annual churn decisions happen in month one — right when the first charge hits
The moment the first charge appears in the bank account is when most cancellation decisions happen — not the renewal reminder at month eleven. For annual subscribers, the fix is aggressive post-purchase engagement in the first 30 days: surface value, celebrate early wins, and make the habit stick before the renewal math becomes conscious.
Look at with survey data working out who are the ones who are staying the longest. So who's been subscribed for a while who's actively using your app — they're not basically have a subscription they've forgotten about but they're actively using your app, they're making the most of it. Asking them through a survey — that's a really good technique if you have a big database to make sure that your interviews are more focused.
Filter your subscriber base before booking interviews — long-tenured AND active
Random user interviews waste slots on passive subscribers who forgot to cancel. First segment via survey to find subscribers who are both long-tenured AND actively engaged, then run deeper interviews against that narrowed list. Every interview slot now skews toward your high-LTV future, not noise.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
