What is mcp.tc?
mcp.tc is a free, independent directory of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. Every server gets its own page at a guessable address such as mcp.tc/i/notion, which lists what the server does, its tools, and one-click setup for clients like Claude, Cursor and VS Code.
The site is useful for anyone who wants to connect an AI assistant to outside tools and data without hunting for setup details. Each listing says up front whether it needs sign-in, and local servers provide their install command. Browsing and setup require no account.
What sets it apart is that clients connect directly to the server itself. The mcp.tc link is only the server's page, so tool calls, sign-in tokens and API keys never pass through mcp.tc. The site also rereads public tool lists several times a day and keeps a History of changes, and followers can get emails when a server changes. Server owners can submit a URL, GitHub repository or npm or PyPI package to be listed.

I played the indie hacker solar prneur card aggressively in the footer of the site that says no VC money just a tiny company in love with text to videos like I tried to keep it very personal my photo was everywhere I recorded the YouTube tutorials and I think there is some value in that I think people buy from people and not from companies
Play the Indie Maker Card Aggressively to Build Personal Trust
Nico deliberately leaned into his solo-founder identity as a growth lever — putting his photo everywhere, recording tutorials himself, and adding a personal note in the footer about being bootstrapped. This created a flywheel where users felt connected to him as a person, not just a product. The transparency and personality drove word-of-mouth and repeat engagement.
earn media is really a compounding effect right like every launch we do earns more eyeballs which means that the next launch earns more eyeballs and it is truly compounding and then it compounds down in our paid media as well... the first place we start is 11 Labs branded search it's the lowest hanging fruit
Earned media compounds: each launch makes the next one bigger
ElevenLabs treats earned media as a compounding asset, not a one-time spike. Each launch that earns press attention increases brand-search volume, which makes paid search more efficient, which makes the next launch convert better. The flywheel: earn attention, capture branded demand, demonstrate ROI on paid, repeat. Most companies optimize each launch in isolation; ElevenLabs optimizes the cumulative earned-media trajectory.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
