Mateflow
Start or move a community with spaces, chat, courses, live sessions, events and memberships in one place, on your own domain.
What is Mateflow?
Mateflow is a community platform for creators, brands, and education teams. It brings spaces, discussion feeds, real-time messaging, courses, live sessions, events, gamification, and memberships into one place, so communities do not have to be stitched together from a forum, a chat app, and a payment tool.
It is designed for people who want to run a community as a business or a serious operation. Creators can turn an audience into a membership business, brands can build customer and member communities with structure and governance, and education teams can run cohort programs and learning communities with content, events, and subscription-gated spaces.
What sets it apart, according to the page, is ownership and control. Communities can run on a custom domain with themes and branding, members can be exported at any time, and paying members and subscriptions can live in the owner's own Stripe account. Payments are built in but optional. Admin tools cover moderation, analytics, automations, roles, SSO, and an open REST API, and a built-in AI copilot can answer member questions from the community's own knowledge base.

What other founders did to grow.
2722 dispatches from hundreds of founders, pulled from the week's best podcasts.
I've had you know very powerful men say this to me they say I'm really sought after in business I'm very successful but when I get home my partner it's like an ice cave you know there's no connection there and I just want to feel connected
Public success can coexist with a private ice cave
External founder success masks a brutal isolation at home. The same person commanding rooms all day can come home to 'an ice cave,' and the gap between public authority and private disconnection becomes its own kind of impostor syndrome — usually invisible to peers because nobody talks about it.
instead of like going out to them directly using paid ads or cold email at scale I identify the layer above them basically a profile of user who has access to them So basically I call them connectors and essentially convince them to be affiliates in that way
Find Customers by Targeting the People Who Already Own Your Audience
Rather than spending years growing a social following or burning budget on ads, Ivan found people who already had trust and access to his ideal customers. Converting a single connector into an affiliate was one high-leverage sales call instead of hundreds of individual ones. Two Upwork coaches alone drove Lancer to $10K/month.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
