What is MailTova?
MailTova is professional email hosting that lets you send from addresses on your own custom domain. You can provision mailboxes, verify domains, and track storage from a single dashboard, with webmail included on every plan.
The service is aimed at small businesses, freelancers, and agencies that want professional email without running their own mail servers. Setup is described as taking minutes: you add your domain, copy the DNS records MailTova shows you into your DNS provider, and the records are verified automatically before you create mailboxes.
Each mailbox includes 1 GB of storage, and every plan offers unlimited custom domains. Webmail is included, and you can also use any IMAP, SMTP, or POP3 email client. SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MTA-STS are configured for you to help mail reach the inbox, and transport is encrypted with per-customer isolation.
Plans start at $5 per month for up to 10 business mailboxes, with Team, Business, and Enterprise tiers offering 20, 50, and 100 mailboxes. Yearly billing is available and is listed as saving roughly 17% compared with monthly billing.

What I've done in the past is I've literally tested very similar like visuals with different messaging overlay on them and different messaging in the text and then tested those against each other first on like the job to be done level with a more general like image that isn't skewing people too much in one direction or another.
Test JTBD Messaging in Meta Ads Before Embedding It Into the App
Before wiring a JTBD angle into onboarding, paywalls, or push notifications, run it cheaply in Meta first. Use the same neutral visual with only the copy varying — that isolates messaging signal from creative signal. Daphne treats ads as a fast, low-risk messaging lab rather than a pure acquisition channel, then graduates winning messages into the product.
In any other business model, in SaaS, marketing and distribution are actually very important. So even at the start you should be spending a lot of your time marketing instead of like adding more features no one asked for. As a solo founder or small company, speed is one of your major advantages.
Default to marketing time over feature time — speed is the solo founder edge
Default founder failure mode is hiding in the codebase. From day one, weight the calendar toward distribution — speed of getting in front of users is the solo founder's only structural edge over funded competitors, and it compounds with every post that lands.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
