LearnX
Upload your course files and get an adaptive exam sprint with ordered study units, spaced review, and a readiness check.
What is LearnX?
LearnX turns your course material into an adaptive exam prep system. You upload files such as lecture slides, notes, lab observations, and textbook chapters, and LearnX organizes them into ordered Study Units with focused sessions, spaced review, and a Final Prediction readiness check. Sprint setup lets you set an exam date and focus areas, and the generated practice questions aim to target common misconceptions, use plausible distractors, and require multi-step reasoning.
It is built for students preparing for course exams who want a clear study path instead of unfocused revision. A dashboard shows the next unit, the countdown to each exam, and a review schedule. Missed concepts return as scheduled repair instead of being buried in results.
LearnX also offers Squads, where friends can share study activity, weekly XP, and sprint momentum across desktop and mobile web. The site states that uploaded files remain the user's own, are not used for model training, can be deleted at any time, and are processed over an encrypted connection by automated, anonymous processing.

Build in Public With Unpolished Content Because People Want the Journey
Dustin attributes his initial launch momentum to consistent, unfiltered public content over 10 years rather than polished marketing material. The key insight is that audiences connect with raw progress, not perfection — making building in public accessible to any solo founder regardless of production budget.
Over 80% of trial starts happen that first day they open the app which is just crazy... not having the pay wall in the onboarding is like such an L such an own goal right.
80% of trial starts happen on day one — show the paywall in onboarding
RevenueCat's 2025 data makes the case definitively: more than 80% of all trial starts happen during the first session. Every day a new user spends in the app without seeing a paywall is a missed trial start. The common objection — let them experience value first — ignores the reality that most users never come back for a second session.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
