What is JaraLock?

JaraLock automates the creation and revocation of a person's accounts across seven identity and SaaS providers in a single run. Before it changes anything, it shows exactly what it would do, and every step is recorded with the provider's own response in a hash-chained log so the record cannot be edited later.

It is built for IT and security teams who need offboarding to be complete and provable. Five providers are verified end to end against live tenants: Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, Atlassian, GitHub, and Slack. Zoom and Anthropic (Claude) are connected and documented but not yet verified in a live tenant.

JaraLock is designed to fail safely. Dry run is the default, large batches over a configured directory threshold pause for a different administrator to approve, and break-glass admins and service accounts are checked before any provider is loaded. If disabling a user fails in one provider, the run halts rather than finishing partway. A deterministic question parser can report what would happen if a given person left, without changing any account.

JaraLock is self-hosted and runs on your own infrastructure with your own keys. Employee data and provider tokens stay with you, and nothing calls home beyond the providers' own APIs and an optional SIEM webhook. Licences are bought once with no seat count and no expiry, and the trial ships the full source so your engineers can review it before use.

Within our premium subscriptions we run over a thousand AB tests a year we essentially test anything that we would launch into market uh whether it's a new feature a new layout a new way to talk about kind of the value that we provide it would all go through an AB test process.

Run 1,000+ A/B tests per year — maximize learning speed by minimizing internal debate

LinkedIn Premium runs 3+ tests per working day across features, layouts, paywall copy, and value messaging. Levit's philosophy: time spent debating internally is worse than time spent getting signal from actual members. The bottoms-up structure means each PM owns their domain and drives tests independently — no central committee approving experiments. Speed of iteration beats quality of internal debate.

Mindset
it's not just being about being good at many things it's about being an expert at learning and an expert at problem solving in a way and this is something I struggle with a lot in a way it's specializing in learning and specializing in problem solving and specializing in this like big picture thinking

Generalists aren't mediocre — they specialize in learning, problem-solving, and big-picture thinking

The old stigma: generalists are "mediocre at many things." The actual definition: people who specialize in the meta-skills of learning new domains fast, untangling messy problems, and seeing the system-level picture across disciplines. If you find yourself defending why your background "makes sense" on a CV, stop. Reframe the same skills as compounding expertise in learning itself — that's a moat, not a weakness.

There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
