What is hiSalon?
hiSalon turns your salon's existing WhatsApp number into a 24x7 booking desk. Every message gets a tap-to-book menu, and clients pick the service, stylist, day and time from WhatsApp polls. Confirmed bookings land directly in your salon calendar, and clients do not need to install any app.
It is built for salons in India that want to stop answering availability questions by hand. Setup involves scanning one QR code to link your WhatsApp number, adding your services, artists and hours, and then clients who message 'hi' see the booking menu. The salon team can also add walk-ins and phone bookings manually from the dashboard.
What sets it apart on the page is how it handles scheduling and follow-up. Only free slots are offered, holidays and artist days off are skipped, and each slot is checked at the moment of confirmation so no chair is double-booked. Staff can send one-click WhatsApp reminders, ask clients for a 1 to 5 star rating after each visit, and switch the bot aside with a 'Talk to Salon' option so a real person can reply from the panel.
The dashboard shows revenue, visits, no-shows, bot versus team bookings, artist performance and reviews in one place. Salon owners can try a live demo before signing up.

We see almost a 5x higher trial to paid conversion rate on mobile than on other channels sometimes because of very obvious reasons like this credit card is already attached and there is a frictionless experience people trust providers like Apple Google Amazon to essentially manage their subscription.
Mobile Gets 5x Higher Trial-to-Paid Than Web — Because the Credit Card Is Already There
Even at Microsoft's scale, the mobile app store drives dramatically higher conversion than web or direct channels. The friction of entering payment details on web kills trials; on mobile the card is stored and trust is already established. This frictionless payment flow is itself a growth lever — not just a convenience.
The retention drivers that help create this for us: magic, novelty — showing people something new every time they open the app, relief, personalization, gamification, bragging rights, and any kind of social features that help you engage with others.
Seven retention drivers to audit every feature against: magic, novelty, relief, personalization, gamification, bragging rights, social
Paloni presents a systematic checklist for evaluating whether a new feature will improve retention. Magic means passive delivery of something delightful. Novelty means fresh content on every open. Relief means alleviating the boredom trigger rather than amplifying it with shame. Personalization means the content responds to this specific user's data. Gamification creates distraction (as Duolingo deploys). Bragging rights create shareable moments. Social connects users to each other. A feature scoring high on multiple drivers is a strong investment; one scoring on none should be reconsidered.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
