What is FixMyPDFs?
FixMyPDFs is a free online toolkit for working with PDFs. It offers 68 tools for editing, merging, splitting, compressing, converting, redacting, repairing and scanning PDFs, all in your browser. The site says there is no watermark and no sign-up required.
The tools are aimed at anyone who needs to fix or adjust a PDF quickly, such as people handling documents, forms, scans, or files they plan to share. Tasks range from changing a line of text or signing a document to compressing a file under a size limit or removing hidden metadata before sending it.
The main difference the page emphasizes is privacy. Every tool is said to run on your own device, so files are not uploaded, and the tools also work offline. An app install option is offered that opens in its own window.
The page lists 10 tool groups, including Merge & Organize, Compress, Security & Privacy, and Office Convert, and notes that three additional tools are still being built.

If you have a yearly plan and a conversion rate and you multiply both and it's bigger than five then it makes sense. This is what the numbers say. For second-year renewals it's basically 25 EUR per user that remains.
New terms only beat the old 30% if yearly_price × conversion_rate > 5
Nico's quick test for whether Apple's new EU terms make sense for your app: multiply your yearly plan price by your conversion rate. If the result is below 5, stay on the old terms. Most freemium apps with sub-5% conversion don't clear this bar.
those people they feel very involved they feel like a part of [the product] at some point like wow did you see that feature I made it happen they will probably be a subscriber for a long time will feel so involved that they will keep giving you feedback they are very likely to bring more people on board
Users pulled into feedback become the product's evangelists
Customers pulled into the feedback loop early start treating the product as theirs — 'did you see that feature, I made it happen.' That ownership feeling drives long retention, more feedback, and word-of-mouth referrals. A handful of these power users is worth far more than the same number of cold signups.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
