Facia
Free, private face shape detector from a photo
What is Facia?
Facia is a free, privacy-first face shape detector that helps you understand your facial proportions from a photo. Upload a clear, front-facing image, use your camera, or try the sample photo to receive your two closest face shape matches instead of being forced into a single rigid category. Facia compares browser-detected facial landmarks and explains the proportions behind the result, including face length, forehead, cheek, jaw, chin, and jaw-angle relationships. It supports seven common face shape families: oval, round, square, heart, diamond, oblong, and triangle. Based on the result, Facia also provides practical starting points for hairstyles and glasses. All analysis runs locally in your browser, so your photo is not uploaded, stored, or used to train a model. The tool is free, requires no account, and works on desktop and mobile. It is available in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Facia is designed for personal styling guidance—not medical advice, identity recognition, attractiveness scoring, or a claim that every face fits one exact shape.

2722 dispatches from hundreds of founders, pulled from the week's best podcasts.
true autonomy means being able to say no to work to customers to features to products and even Events maybe even running a podcast like the India haircraft Founders did but when you're starting on your business Journey you don't have this luxury of employing your autonomy like that
Autonomy = saying no to work, customers, features, products, and side projects
Indie Hackers paused their wildly popular podcast because it was a resource drain — that no is autonomy in practice. Make a list of the things you currently say yes to by default (every customer call, every feature request, every podcast invite) and audit which ones an autonomous founder would say no to. Early-stage founders don't have full autonomy yet — you still have to say yes to find PMF. But the moment you do, start saying no, deliberately.
Distribution is always a show don't tell game A lot of people think you need to try and sell your products but demo what it does Show people how it works If they find value in it they're going to download it They're going to give you money and your app is going to scale
Demo the Product in Action Instead of Pitching Its Features
Kishi paid a micro-streamer $120 to use Social Wizard on camera while trying to reply to a girl's story. The viewer never felt sold to — they just watched someone solve a relatable problem in real time. That single video hit 2 million views and brought in tens of thousands of dollars.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
