What is Everygen AI?

Everygen AI is an AI video generator website that helps users prepare text to video and image to video briefs. The site offers a demo workflow where you choose a mode, model, resolution, duration, and framing, then write a prompt. According to the page, no clips are rendered in the demo; it is designed to prepare inputs rather than produce final footage.

The site includes a library of text to video prompt examples covering food, product reveals, portraits, fashion, cinematic scenes, and animation, along with guidance on camera moves, pacing, and scene structure. It also offers planning pages for short-form social clips, ad concepts, YouTube Shorts storyboards, and product video briefs, plus model guides for Veo, Seedance, Kling, Wan, and Grok. These guides are presented as companions to the workflow demo, and the tabs do not provide live generation access.

EveryGen AI is aimed at creators, marketers, and anyone planning short videos from a written idea or a source photo. Its distinguishing feature is the focus on the brief itself: step-by-step guidance on describing subject, light, scene, and motion before choosing a model. The page also mentions annual plans and one-time credit packs, and a pricing section that compares model credit costs.

the way we got it off the ground was we would share it with some people people would use it in like Discord communities a little bit to help out we kept on improving it we kept on listening to the customers and it grew to 10K a month fairly organically as it got to a much better place and to a good place where we felt pretty confident we reached out to a couple people on YouTube to make videos about it

Stay in Communities Listening Until Organic Growth Reaches Ten K MRR

Before turning on any paid or influencer channels, Sebastian's team spent months seeding the product quietly in Discord servers and iterating on feedback. They treated $10K MRR as the proof threshold that the core product experience was genuinely worth recommending. Only then did they greenlight external promotion.

The pros, students, athletes can join the platform — we're never going to disrupt with a paywall the interaction between the two. It's a touchstone, a third rail. You change that and it's a fundamental tenant of our business.

Identify your non-negotiable free tier first — it protects the network effect core

Every freemium strategy has at least one non-negotiable: the feature or user type that makes the whole product work. For V1 Sports, the coach-student relationship cannot be paywalled — doing so would destroy the network. Revisiting strategy every 18 months does not mean everything is on the table. Identifying the real third rails early focuses re-evaluation energy on the genuinely moveable parts.

There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
