Cosmiq
The free AI tutor that adapts to every mind
What is Cosmiq?
COSMIQ (getcosmiq.app) is a free, voice-driven AI tutoring web app. A learner picks a teacher, opens a live classroom, and learns by talking — the AI teacher speaks, writes on a smart board, asks questions, grades answers in real time, and adapts to the learner turn by turn. Around that core sit progress tracking, spaced-repetition review, mock tests, a full self-paced course engine (Cosmiq Academy), parent reporting, school/district tools, a 3D game arcade, and a large family of free public resources.
The founding promise (locked policy): Free forever for every K-12 student. Families learn free for up to two children. Adults advancing their careers — plus schools, districts, sponsors, and donors — keep COSMIQ free for kids. Premium voice is never gated for anyone, and equity exams (GED, citizenship, ESL, adult literacy) are free forever alongside K-12, SAT, ACT, AP, and IB.

Absolutely you can use stripe braintree and others... apple does have very specific rules around you know who you can send off the app store so it's possible.
Web Payments via Stripe Are Legal — Apple Has Specific Rules on Who Qualifies
Collecting subscription payments on the web to avoid Apple's 30% cut is legal but conditional. Apple allows it only for certain business models under specific conditions — at the time of recording, only a handful of app categories qualified. Stripe and Braintree handle the payment mechanics; qualifying for Apple's external-link entitlement is the real gate.
You almost completed what is sort of like a voice AI personality quiz along with these beautiful animations... we tried to make it like something that would actually like questions that would be fun to answer about themselves and then actually give the user some output.
Onboarding As A Voice AI Personality Quiz With Answers That Carry Into The First Conversation
Tolen's onboarding is a spoken personality quiz — fun, oddly-specific questions like 'what part of TikTok do you get stuck on?' — powered by voice AI with character animations. Crucially, the answers don't get discarded: they seed the Tolen's memory bank so the first real conversation references them. The paywall question then lands after the user has already felt the magic of personalization.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
