What is CloutStack?

CloutStack is a directory of the software people use to turn an audience into a business. It covers the full creator stack: editing and publishing, newsletters and memberships, storefronts and sponsorships, contracts and taxes, analytics and automation, plus the unglamorous operational tools most people only discover after sending their first invoice.

Every listing is designed to answer the questions that matter before you sign up. We explain what a tool costs, who it is best suited for, where it falls short, and who should probably skip it. We also publish six practical facts you can verify at a glance: how the product bills, whether it offers a free trial, whether it has an API, whether your data can be exported, what percentage or transaction fee it takes, and where the software runs.

Tools are researched and added by the CloutStack team, and builders can submit their own products for review. Ratings are not anonymous decoration: every star comes from someone who has actually used the tool. Our goal is simple—to help creators, teams, and independent businesses compare software clearly, avoid expensive mistakes, and build a stack that fits how they really work with confidence.

Bootstrapping
we don't want to be in the position where if we lose one of those Enterprise customers it really hurts us in terms of cash flow so what we'd really love to do is just grow that base of like our you know monthly what we call them like DIY customers that you're just covering your expenses and then those Enterprise passers are sort of like icing on the cake

Let DIY customers fund expenses; treat enterprise as icing

Twenty enterprise accounts pay roughly the same as 170 legacy DIY customers — concentration risk that shapes every feature decision if it grows unchecked. The deliberate move: fund baseline expenses entirely from low-touch DIY signups, so big contracts become upside rather than oxygen. Refusing to move upmarket IS the strategy.

this is the creator course that I have built for Sprout more than 50% of the creators that go through this course go viral within the first two weeks and this is completely tailored to our app first we have a type form and then I do a bunch of videos and modules to train our creators... we always have a quiz at the end of each module just to quality check on the creators

Productize UGC creator onboarding into a course — 50% go viral in 2 weeks

Don't treat UGC creators as freelancers you brief once. Build an actual course: Typeform application → video modules covering your content bank, hooks, formats, scripts → quizzes at the end of each module to gate completion. Encode everything you know about what works on your app into a repeatable curriculum. Nicole's Sprout course gets >50% of creators viral within 2 weeks — the productized training is what turns one virality run into a system.

There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
