20&4HOURS
Verified inventory reservations for merchants and buyer agents
AI & Machine Learning·Analytics·E-Commerce
What is 20&4HOURS?
20&4HOURS helps merchants make eligible store inventory available to approved buyer agents through short, deposit-backed reservations. A merchant connects a supported store, syncs stock and prices, and reviews which SKUs can accept holds. An agent requests a current quote, chooses a hold window, and pays through an enabled hosted payment rail. A payment link alone does not reserve an item: provider payment and fresh stock are checked before a hold is confirmed. At an eligible merchant checkout, the refundable deposit is credited in full; unused holds follow the disclosed refund rules. The merchant workspace distinguishes funded interest from verified orders, so teams can measure demand by SKU, observe limited-time campaigns, and assess conversion without counting a hold as a sale. Store onboarding is free. Merchants explicitly choose Starter, Growth, or Pro pricing, while buyer-agent fees are separately disclosed and authorized. Availability depends on merchant verification, eligible stock, and enabled payment and checkout integrations.

Some people told me that with that pricing it's actually the first time they could buy afford a product instead of having to Pirate it
PPP converts pirates into paying fans
Assume a meaningful slice of your would-be audience is already pirating your books because the full-price tier is literally unreachable for them. PPP isn't a discount — it's anti-piracy infrastructure that converts that demand into legitimate revenue plus deep goodwill. Buyers who can finally afford to pay legally tend to become your loudest advocates.
When you're running a start trial campaign the signal is like all the people who are willing to start a trial but not necessarily all the people who are willing to pay. When you have a purchase-only funnel every user that gets sent back to the ad network is one that's high intent, high quality — the algorithms are able to better find users just like that.
Money-back guarantee on web funnels sends better purchase signal to Meta than free trial — quality users find you faster
Reading.com replaced the free trial with a 30-day money-back guarantee on its web ad funnels. Conversion rates dropped, but every conversion event sent to Meta was a real purchaser — high-intent signal the algorithm could use to find more like-minded users. Over time the higher-quality audience the algorithm learned to target more than compensated for the lower raw conversion rate, and few users actually exercised the refund.
There's a play for whatever you're stuck on.
